I had the wrong Cong. Jim Johnson is currently PO of the Sugarhouse Cong in SLC, Utah. I was in the Granite Park Cong. We shared the same KH. This guy was always really nice to me when I was growing up. I had the hots for his daughter. Like I said his family and mine were/are really close. Even the "good" ones are liars. Wow.
How did it turn out that this guy was called to be a witness in this hearing?

I just watched watched that video and that guy is Jim Johnson, a close friend of my parents since they were kids!!!!!! I've known that guy since I was a toddler. Wierd to see him lie like that. I always thought he was such a nice guy. As far as I know, he is still an Elder in the Murray, Utah Congregation. I should ask my Grandma what Good Ol' Jimmy Johnson is up to these days. Would anyone like a progress report??? My Granny loves to dish the dirt.

i'm in the habit of opening the door for people - nothing unusual about that, i know, but to me it's plain good manners.
it's a kind of recognition of a person who just passes by fleetingly but, is after all, a fellow traveller on this marvellous orb called earth.. so it was today that after filling up with petrol (gas) at our local service station, i went to the cashier's booth to pay.
as i entered, a man was leaving and i opened the door for him to pass, waiting while he walked through.
One of the brewpubs in the company that I work for complains of a "Big group of Jehovah('s) Witnesses that come in every Tuesday night and act like complete asses." Just a few of the complaints are:
No gratuity-ever.
They are needy and rude with all of their servers.
Their kids are loud and obnoxious, leave huge messes behind, and disturb everyone else in the establishment.(Minors are not allowed after 10:00 pm. They argue that they came in before 10 and therefore should not have to remove their children.)
They constantly argue about their bill and often refuse to pay for items that they claim were never ordered or were somehow "unsatisfactory".
The list goes on and on.
The sad part is that it is against policy to deny service to people who are rude. We have to have a pretty serious offense to "86" an individual, to "86" an entire group is unheard of.
Maybe they need a "Special Talk" about how to behave in public.

Muff'n'Eggs were generic excuses for Egg McMuffins that they used to serve at District Conventions. Am I the only one that remembers these monstrocities? You could purchase them with food tickets that you would trade cash for before the Convention started. The scam here is that once you bought the food tickets, they had your hard-earned $$$. The food sucked, so you were always left with these stupid food tickets instead of $ or a decent meal.
